PARAGOULD, AR. Oct. 30–Black River Technical College and Arkansas Methodist Medical Center’s continued partnership is benefiting students and the community.
AMMC recently accepted sponsorship applications from students desiring to complete the CNA program at BRTC. Those accepted are receiving hourly wages from AMMC to attend the course, and after completing the CNA program, these students will be offered a position at AMMC.
According to Holly Winslow, certified nursing instructor at BRTC, “Hospitals across the nation are struggling with adequate staffing, and this collaboration with BRTC will provide AMMC skilled workers to fill open positions.”
