Black River Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for Adjunct Clinical Instructors. These are part-time positions. The candidates will be responsible for providing clinical instruction, supervision, and evaluation of assigned students in various clinical settings and may require travel to multiple clinical sites. Applicants for this position must hold a current unencumbered license as described below. The candidates must be professional while possessing patience, strong organizational, delegation, and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
Practical Nursing Program:
- Hold a valid, unencumbered practical or registered nursing license to practice in the state of Arkansas or other compact state
- Have had at least two years previous experience in clinical nursing at or above the LPN level
Registered Nursing Program:
- Hold a valid, unencumbered Registered Nursing license to practice in the state of Arkansas or other compact state
- Have had at least two years previous experience in clinical nursing at or above the Associate RN level
Both
- Must be knowledgeable of the rules, regulations, principles, and policies in the nursing area of instruction
- Must be able to provide competent clinical instruction, supervision, and evaluation to assigned students in assigned clinical settings
- Must be willing to travel to all clinical sites as needed, work the assigned number of clinical hours, complete and submit computerized student evaluations at the end of each clinical day
