Black River Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Agriculture Instructor. The Agriculture Instructor works under the direct supervision of the Dean of General Studies and Vice President for Academics and is responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in agriculture including, but not limited to, the following courses: plant science, animal science, soils, and agriculture economics. Student advisement and committee activities are also required for this position, as well as maintaining a commitment to student recruitment and retention. Summer employment and overload classes are possible. This is currently a nine (9) month position beginning August 7, 2023.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a master’s degree with eighteen (18) graduate hours in the subject area. Preference will be given to the applicant with teaching experience at the collegiate level, but those with relevant practical experience will also be considered.
