Black River Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Computer Support Technician on the Pocahontas campus. This is a full-time, 12-month, non-classified position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Computer Support Technician provides end-user hardware and software support. This position is also responsible for evaluating, installing and providing training for new and existing software products and updates as directed. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Computer Services.
The formal education equivalent of a Baccalaureate degree with a major in computer applications, computer science, or related field plus one year of experience in computer applications or related field is preferred. Experience providing hardware, software, and user support in a large network environment is preferred. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements.
