Black River Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the following grant funded part-time position:
Nursing Clinical Coordinator/Simulation Lab Facilitator
This is a part-time, evening/night position. The clinical coordinator/sim lab facilitator will be responsible for scheduling clinical rotations for the practical nursing students; supervising students and adjunct faculty in the clinical setting; planning, coordinating, teaching, assessing and administration of on-site clinical simulation for practical nursing students. In addition, off-site clinical instruction will be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are an unencumbered registered nursing license in the state of Arkansas or a compact state with at least two years’ experience in clinical nursing. Applicants must hold a minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher degree is preferred. The individual must be knowledgeable of the principles and practices in all fields of nursing with two (2) years’ experience in clinical nursing with a minimum of one (1) year of nursing education experience preferred; current CPR certification; knowledge and skills related to teaching adults, teaching methodology, curriculum development, evaluation, or willingness to plan for acquisition of these skills.
Salary:
