POCAHONTAS, AR October 25, 2019 – Black River Technical College’s president Dr. Martin Eggensperger and NEA Intermodal executive director Graycen Bigger hosted Steve Sparks, director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission’s Existing Business Resource Division, at BRTC last week.

Eggensperger and Bigger gave Sparks a tour of the campus to show the director how BRTC and NEA Intermodal are able to train and prepare an effective workforce in Northeast Arkansas.  Sparks visited the welding, electricity, machine tool, auto body, auto service, and law enforcement programs at the campus.

The Arkansas Economic Development Commission has been very supportive of BRTC and NEA Intermodal.  Eggensperger and Bigger hope to expand opportunities for local workers through support from local, state, and federal entities.
