BRTC Career Pathways Presents to BRAD Head Start Providers

Black River Technical College (BRTC) Career Pathways Director Margo Davis and Coordinator of Recruitment, Retention, and Placement Bridget Guess recently presented information about Career Pathways services to a group of Black River Area Development (BRAD) Head Start providers.

The Career Pathways department was invited by BRAD Family Community Engagement Manager Sandy Borreson to the meeting to speak about the department’s programs that help students in low-income households.

“We presented things we can do to possibly help the parents of the children they serve,” said Davis. “Such as, tuition, fees, books, gas reimbursements, good grade incentives, etc.….We also gave them applications, so they could refer parents to us.”
