BRTC’s Newly Installed Shelving in its Food Pantry
POCAHONTAS, AR Oct. 27— Black River Technical College recently received a grant from the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance to install new shelving in its on-campus food pantry.
BRTC was awarded $700.00 to make improvements in its food pantry. Six new shelves were installed that will allow pantry workers to easily rotate stock to ensure the goods closest to expiration are handed out first.
BRTC in the process of restocking the pantry before the holidays by having a food drive this month. Food will be collected on both campuses through October 28.
