The 2018 Annual IBERIABANK/BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament named scholarships have been awarded to 17 students attending BRTC. Each scholarship is sponsored by a $1,000 donor who is able to name the scholarship. The Black River Technical College Foundation matches the $1,000 donation allowing students to be awarded $1,000 per semester, fall and spring, provided the student maintains enrollment and meets GPA requirements.
Brecken Rusing of Paragould has accepted the Dr. Karla Baltz, DDS Scholarship, made possible by funding from Dr. Karla Baltz of Pocahontas. Rusing is a 2009 graduate of Paragould High School. He is the seeking an Associate of Applied Science degree in Registered Nursing.
