The 2018 Annual IBERIABANK/BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament named scholarships have been awarded to 17 students attending BRTC. Each scholarship is sponsored by a $1,000 donor who is able to name the scholarship. The Black River Technical College Foundation matches the $1,000 donation allowing students to be awarded $1,000 per semester, fall and spring, provided the student maintains enrollment and meets GPA requirements.
Charlotte Jennings of Marmaduke has accepted the Overman Buildings Scholarship made possible by funding from Overman Buildings of Pocahontas. Jennings is a 2017 graduate of Marmaduke High School and the daughter of Tommy and Regina Jennings. She is seeking a degree in Nursing.
