Serendipity is a project designed to encourage lifelong learning among adults of all ages and to provide opportunities for its members to engage in stimulating discussion of stories representing diverse people, cultures, and settings.
The books we are reading will take us to places we have never been, as well as to familiar ground. The themes reveal worlds outside our own experiences, as well as some that are internal to us all. I know we will all learn about people and places we can only imagine, as well as share in aspects of the human condition common to us all. Those “worlds” that collide will sometimes be familiar, sometimes less so, sometimes more global, but all of them, hopefully, relevant.
